Support at Home

All services are free of charge, but please note where purchasing of materials is required for DIY jobs you will be informed and costs will be kept to a minimum.

Lend a Hand

We provide a range of support services to enable people to continue to live independently.

Our services range from one off small practical jobs such as gardening or DIY tasks for those unable to do this themselves or struggling to arrange help to get such tasks completed.

We also provide medium to longer terms support such as carer relief, We can for instance provide volunteers who will sit with a relative, giving a carer a few hours to have some time off or do vital errands. We also offer services such as Home from Hospital, Dog Walking, shopping, individual support to access any of our activities and services and befriending.

Please note we cannot provide personal care.

Medical Equipment Loans

For the loan of wheelchairs, commodes and other useful equipment.

Here is a list of some of the equipment that is available:

Meals on Wheels

We provide a Meals on Wheels service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

All the food ingredients are sourced as locally as possible and are cooked fresh on the day you get the meal.

Prices for a Main course and Pudding is £7.50

Main Courses – Fish and Chips – Chicken and Vegetables – delicious!
Puddings – Crème brûlée or Sticky Toffee – what’s not to like?
